LEAKED Doctor Who scripts have revealed major Tardis secrets in deleted scenes from a 2017 episode starring Peter Capaldi.

The original plot was released as part of a fan watch-along and showed there were several parts cut from Pearl Mackie’s debut episode in the show‘s tenth series on the BBC.

Firstly the episode is called ‘The Pilot’ but the original script confirms that it was actually entitled ‘A Star In Her Eye’.

As well as this, the script also spilled a massive secret about the Tardis – the Doctor’s time machine.

Joking that his vehicle is called a “sockfubble” on his home planet, Pearl’s character Bill Potts then asks the Doctor why he can’t fix the chameleon circuit that gives it its appearance.

Peter’s Doctor then admits it isn’t broken, but it would be a big job to change it, so just keeps it the way it is.

As well as this, there’s a number of deleted scenes that were cut from the episode such as the Doctor going out for a drink with Bill’s friends and playing a VR game with a fake chainsaw.

It was confirmed there were also more conversations that took place between Bill and her foster mother.

The finished episode also cuts a number of face-to-face conflicts between the Doctor and Bill’s love interest Heather (Stephanie Hyam).

However, the basic plot is the same as the Doctor – who is guarding the vault at a university – takes in Bill as a pupil, before they end up getting chased around time and space by a student infected by alien oil.

Meanwhile, the latest Doctor Who watch-along was postponed in the wake of the global Black Lives Matter protests.

“After careful consideration, out of respect for the feelings of Doctor Who fans around the world, we won’t be going ahead with the tweetalong this weekend,” Emily Cook of Doctor Who Magazine confirmed.

“It doesn’t feel appropriate at this time,” she added.
